Shocked by a 20-position drop in the NCAA tennis rankings (to #62), the Boise State women's team completed a weekend sweep with a 7-0 win over Montana today at the BOAS Indoor Tennis Complex.
All three doubles teams were victorious to get Boise State off to a good start. Sonia Klamczynska easily won at #2 singles with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Montana's Heather Davidson. Morgan Basil won 6-0, 6-0 to give Boise State its third win of the day. Elyse Edwards followed with a straight sets win at #4 singles to clinch the match. Stephanie Jasper, Sandy Vo and Lauren Megale all won as well for the shutout.
Boise State needs to find its road strength with three matches set this week. The Lady Broncos play UNLV Friday, Furman Saturday and SMU next Sunday.
