The 10,000 is about to be run at the West Regionals. Sasa Kampic finished 44th in the women's javelin.
Jones Finishes 22nd in Long Jump
Boise State has a lot of competitors at the NCAA West Regional (17), but so far just one has advanced to the semifinals.

Lohman Finishes 36th in Shot Put
Will Lohman finished 36th in qualifying today in the men's shot put at the NCAA West Regional Track & Field Championships in Austin, Texas. The top 12 qualified for the final.
O'Donoghue-McDonald Finishes 29th in 1,500 Meters
Drew O'Donoghue-McDonald finished 29th today in qualifying for the 1,500 meter run. Charlie Petrie qualified for the Regional but did not compete today. Only the top 24 move on to the semis.

Trammel Qualifies in 400-Meter Hurdles
Rolando Trammel became the first Bronco to qualify for the semifinals at the NCAA West Regional Track & Field Championships in Austin, Texas. Trammel finished 15th in qualifying for the 400-meter hurdles and will compete in the semis tomorrow.

Broncos Begin NCAA West Regional Today
Seventeen student-athletes from Boise State will participate in the NCAA West Regional Track & Field Championships in Austin, Texas beginning today. To qualify for Nationals, a competitor must finish in the Top 12 in his or her event. Decathlete Kurt Felix has already qualified for the NCAA National Championships as the fourth seed in the country and that event is not contested this week.
Eetu Viitala will be the first Bronco to compete; he's slated to participate in the Long Jump at noon M.D.T. Sasa Kampic will test her ability in the javelin while Rolando Trammel competes in the first of two events for him, the 400-meter hurdles, at 3:30. Drew O'donoghue-McDonald and Charlie Petrie will run in the 1,500 meters today while Will Lohman competes in the shot put and Racquel Jones takes part in the long jump at 4:30. Scott Foley is entered in the 10,000-meter qualifying at 8 p.m. tonight while Emma Bates challenges the field in the women's 10,000 at 8:40.
