Boise State senior guard Derrick Marks was named to the Associated Press All-America team today, the first Bronco All-American in school history.
Marks averaged 19.4 points per game this season, #22 in the nation. Marks was named the Mountain West Player of the Year, and earned All-District VIII and NABC All-District 17 as well.
Bill Otey was an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American in 1969, but Marks is the first Division I All-American ever at Boise State.
