Boise State Swimmers in Second Place at Mountain West Championships

It was a good but not great day for Boise State in the opening of the Mountain West Swimming and Diving Championships in San Antonio, Texas.

Boise State sits second with 88 points, trailing Nevada with 107.  San Diego State is right behind the Broncos with 80 points, while New Mexico and Wyoming have 65 each.

Boise State set a school record in the 200 medley relay, finishing second to San Diego State.  The foursome then swam a time trial, and were clocked in 1:37.75, which qualifies for the NCAA Championships.

Ciera Cortney, who has dominated diving this season, finished the one-meter final today in second place with a score of 299.79.

Oops.

Halftime: CSU 26, Boise State 17

Broncos fell apart in the last half of the first half.  They let the Rams go on a 22-4 run to close out the half.

I Don't Claim to Have Been Right in That Last Post But...

Colorado State is now up on the Bronco women, 21-17 with 2:17 remaining in the first half.

Boise State Runs Out to 13-4 Lead

Don't know if Colorado State has the Lady Broncos right where they want them, but early, it's all Boise State.  Eleven minutes remaining in the half at Taco Bell Arena.
