Pro Day

One NFL scout said today that the group that he saw today at Boise State was the best he's seen in 13 years of scouting.

Lady Broncos Sweep Seattle

Boise State exploded for eight runs in the fourth inning and the Broncos went on to defeat Seattle 8-3 for a doubleheader sweep at Mountain Cove Field in Boise.


Devon Bridges and Allie Crump led off Boise State's big inning with singles and Coach Erin Thorpe's team plated its first run on a fielder's choice by Kellie Caplan.  Mackenzie White singled and Jordan Krieger reached on an error.  Ashley Collier singled in two runs and Tara Glover's double to center drove in two more.  Caplan's fly out sent Glover to third.  Christina Capobianco was hit by a pitch and Bridges, the 10th Bronco up in the inning, reached on an error that scored Glover.  Crump singled in the final two runs of the inning.


Crump pitched four innings while Lela worked allowed two hits over three innings as Boise State prevailed.  The Broncos play UTSA tomorrow at Mountain Cove.

Boise State Defeats Seattle 9-0 in Five Innings

Boise State played up to the level it is capable of with an early 9-0 disposing of Seattle in the first game of a doubleheader at Mountain Cove Field.  


Holly Bourke was 2-2 with five RBI's to lead the Bronco hitting attack with a single and a three-run homer.  Aubray Zell and Kenzie Cole combined for the shutout.  The two teams will meet in the second game.

Kellen Moore Was 52-53 on Pro Day

Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore completed 52-of-53 in the passing drills before professional scouts at Boise State's Pro Day in Boise.  His only incompletion was a deep pass to wide receiver Tyler Shoemaker that he missed by about an inch.
