Bates Qualifies for NCAA Championships, Broncos go 5 for 6 on Day One

Emma Bates finished fourth in the preliminary of the 10,000 meter run today in Dallas, Texas.  Bates qualifies for the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon.

Five of six Broncos competing today are still alive in their quests for reaching the NCAA Championships, and, as mentioned above, Bates has already punched her ticket to Eugene.

Flannigan Qualifies for 100-Meter Quarterfinals

Mackenzie Flannigan is moving on to the quarterfinal in the women's 100-meter dash.  Flannigan qualified in today's preliminary round.

David Elliott Qualifies for 1,500 Meter Semifinal

Junior David Elliott has qualified for the semifinals in the 1,500 meters at the NCAA Preliminary Championships.  Elliott, in fact, had the best time in preliminary qualifying with a time of 3:44.15.

Andrade, Martinez Qualify for

Jordin Andrade and Fernando Martinez both qualified for the quarterfinals in the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA Preliminary Track & Field Championships in Dallas, Texas.  Both will compete in Eugene at the NCAA Championships.
