The Boise State volleyball team scored a big win with a come-from-behind 22-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-16 win over second-place Utah State last night in Bronco Gym.  Freshman Sierra Nobley had 24 kills and 10 digs, while Sarah Baugh had 44 assists to move into third place in career assists at Boise State with 1,957.

The Broncos are now 11-8 overall and 4-3 in Mountain West Conference play following their third straight win.  Utah State fell to 8-9 and 4-3.

"I am really proud of the way the entire team played tonight," said head coach Shawn Garus.  "The way they fought back after dropping the first set took a lot of heart. They never let up and kept chipping away at it. I love the fact that they came out and competed when they had their backs to the wall. Hannah (Hubbard) did a great job defensively, Sarah was solid distributing the ball around, and I thought Maddy (O'Donnell) had a key play in the second set when she had a big hit that came down hard on a defender.  I thought that picked the team up and gave us a boost of energy. Overall a very good effort by the team and a big win for our program."

Boise State hosts Fresno State this Saturday at 2 p.m. in Bronco Gym.
