Garrett Patton Commits to Boise State

The Boise State tennis team has a new recruit and his name is a familiar one.  Garrett Patton, son of legendary Bronco Coach Greg Patton, inked a deal late yesterday afternoon.

“Getting Garrett to commit to Boise State was greatly enhanced since both parents were easy to convince, they both liked the coaching staff!” said Greg Patton. “I am thrilled to have a hometown kid join our program. I had been working on recruiting him since he was in blue and orange diapers and his first words were Go Broncos.”

Patton was a major reason why Boise High School was 62-0 the last four years.  Patton was unbeaten in singles the last two years and on the Idaho state title as a freshman and again as a junior.  Boise won three of four state titles during Patton's years there.  Patton is ranked #61 nationally.
