Boise State With Four Sub-9.8's on Beam

Boise State with a 48.650 on beam.  That will make it tough to reach the Top 10 by the end of the year.  More important, it puts the Broncos on the back burner as far as judges at the NCAA Regionals are concerned.  A lot easier to get into the Top 12 if you're ranked in the Top 12 than if you're not, as Boise State found out last year.

Boise State with a 48.625 on Bars

The first four all earned 9.825, but then a 9.325 and a 9.25.

San Jose State has 96.825 to 97.650 for Boise State.  Broncos will have to work now for that 196.

So Far, So Good for Boise State Gymnastics

Boise State with a 49.025 on the vault to start the meet with San Jose State.  SJSU received a disappointing 48.40 in their first rotation.  The Broncos need a 49 in each event to get 196, which is the minimum score they need from here on out.  Boise State did get two individual scores under 9.8, something they want to avoid.
