Jack Fields Commits to Boise State

Boise State got their second running back in the 2012 class as Jack Fields has committed to the Broncos.  Fields joins Devan Demas, who committed Sunday to the cause.  Fields is yet another recruit from the Lone Star State--he is 5-10, 200 from Americas High School in El Paso, Texas.  He ran for 1,658 yards and 18 touchdowns as a junior.

Fields chose the Broncos over scholarship offers from UTEP, Texas A&M, Rice, New Mexico and New Mexico State and over interest from Arizona, Baylor and Houston.

Welcome Jack!

Donte Deayon Commits to Boise State

Cornerback Donte Deayon has committed to Boise State, according to several sources.

The 5-10, 165-pound Deayon goes to Summit High School in Fontana, California.  He was the Most Valuable Player among defensive backs at the Stanford Football Camp.  Deayon, a fast rising star, chose the Broncos over an offer from San Diego State and increasing interest from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Colorado and UCLA.

He has amazing speed (4.5), technique and hands.  Deayon was credited with 10 interceptions last season and was the Sunkist League MVP.  He won the league championship in the 330 hurdles (38.6), he high jumps 6'5" and has a 22'8" long jump and a 47'2" triple jump.

One of the best numbers for Donte--a 3.8 G.P.A.
