George Ivanov had a quick trip at the NCAA's. Tonight, Ivanov lost 11-4 in consolation to John Nicholson of Old Dominion.

Boise State Women's Tennis Team Cancels Matches
The Broncos were supposed to play a pair of matches this weekend in California but inclimate traveling weather has forced cancellation. Boise State enters Mountain West play next week in Albuquerque with matches against New Mexico and TCU.
Swartz About Ready to Go in Third Round
Jacob Swartz is about to see if he can win a third match at the 2012 NCAA Wrestling Championships. He will wrestle in about 10 minutes.
Boise State Finishes 16th in 200 Freestyle Relay
The Bronco swimming team finished last in the "B" final of the 200-yard freestyle relay tonight at the 2012 Swimming & Diving Championships. Boise State gets two points for their effort and Amber Boucher and Stephanie North still have a shot in a couple of events to get points.
All Four Bronco Wrestlers Have to Wait a Bit
They are doing the Championship Round first, and Jacob Swartz (184 pounds) was the only winner so even he won't be wrestling for a while. The other three Broncos are in Consolation and it looks like they will wrestle after the Championship Round.

Devon Bridges homered in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings, and then the Broncos won it with two hits and a ground ball, when the Gopher catcher obstructed the plate.

Disappointment for Boise State in 50-Yard Freestyle
Boise State came into the NCAA Championships with two of the Top 15 in the country, Amber Boucher and Stephanie North. The trials are over in the 50 Free and Amber finished 39th, North 47th and Stevie Hughey 63rd.

Boise State Relay Team Gets 15th in Trials, Will Score Points
The Boise State freestyle relay team finished 15th in the 200 trials this morning, good enough to qualify for the finals in the "B" Race tonight.

Big Day Today as Broncos Try to Earn Points in Learfield Cup
Student-athletes in two sports will be counted on to earn points for Boise State in the annual Learfield Cup. Four Bronco swimmers and four Bronco wrestlers compete at the 2012 NCAA Championships beginning today in their respective sports.
To this point in the Learfield Cup, the football team and the women's track team are the only ones which have scored points for Boise State. The Bronco football team once again was ranked in the Top 10 while Mele Vaisima scored points for the women's track team just last week at the 2012 Indoor Track & Field Championships in Nampa.
Both the swimming and wrestling championships get underway at 10 this morning. Blue Through and Through will help you track results.
Don't forget the home opener for the Boise State this afternoon at 3 at Mountain Cove Field in Boise. The Broncos host Minnesota.
