Townsend Leads Decathlon
With three events to go, Boise State's Roderick Townsend leads the field at the Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Laramie, Wyoming. New Mexico's Richard York, the first-day leader, hit a hurdle in the sixth event and scored zero points, clearing the way for Townsend.
Townsend has 5,101 points with hometown favorite Kyle Sullivan in second with 5,040 points.
