Potvin-Green Rolls Up a 9.950 on Floor
Star Boise State gymnast Brittany Potvin-Green scored a sensational 9.950 on floor tonight to wrap up the evening with an all-around score of 39.60.
Potvin-Green's all-around ranks #2 in the history of Boise State gymnastics and just .025 behind Lindsay Ward's school record of 39.625 set on February 29, 2004. Superb performance by the amazing Brittany Potvin-Green!!!

Boise State Collapses on Beam
The Broncos roared through the first two rotations with scores well over 49, then slumped to a miserable 48.45 on beam. Boise State now needs all perfect 10's on floor to reach 197.100.

Amy Glass and Brittany Potvin-Green are keeping the Broncos above 49 right now in each rotation. Both have scores of 9.925 and 9.900 in the first two events. However, two sub-9.8's by teammates on the beam have the Broncos in danger of falling below the score they need.

Things got a little interesting in the seventh, thanks to a wild pitch, two errors and timely hitting by the visitors. Boise State finally put out the fire and the Broncos won 5-3.

Boise State scored a 49.275 in the first rotation on vault tonight in their gymnastics meet with BYU at Taco Bell Arena in Boise. That is almost exactly what they need in each of the four rotations to get 197.1, the score they need to move into the Top 12.
BYU received 48.825 in their tougher rotation on bars and is right there in their competition with Boise State.

The Score to Watch for the Boise State Gymnasts
Boise State needs a score of at least 197.100 tonight against BYU to reach the Top 12 in the nation. That is significant because, in the judges minds at Regionals, they will deserve to move on to Nationals. As the Broncos found out last year, extremely tough to qualify for Nationals if you are not already in the Top 12.

Boise State Extends Lead to 5-0
The Lady Bronco softball team now leads UTSA 5-0, thanks to a Devon Bridges solo shot. Boise State is bidding for its 21st consecutive home win, third best in the nation. Boise State leads UTSA 5-0 after five.

A three-run Allie Crump homer highlighted a four-run Bronco first and the Lady Broncos lead UTSA 4-0 at Mountain Cove Field.
Nebeker Named Gatorade Player of the Year
Incoming Boise State Bronco Joey Nebeker was named Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year after averaging 22.8 points, 9.9 rebounds and 2.7 blocked shorts for Melba High School. Nebeker, 6-7, 200, led the Mustangs to the Idaho 2A championship.

Play has resumed in the Boise State Spring Break Tennis Classic on the Appleton courts. The Broncos lead Ball State 3-1.
