Hochstrasser, Chamberlain Lead United States to Pan American Championship

Former Boise State stars Andrew Hochstrasser and Jason Chamberlain won individual gold medals, two of six for the United States, as the U.S. won the Pan American freestyle wresting championships yesterday in Santiago, Chile.
Hochstrasser, a two-time All-American and Pac-12 champion at 133 pounds, won by technical fall (10-0) over Wilmar Hernandez of Columbia. Chamberlain, also a two-time All-American and two-time Pac-12 Champion and three-time Pac-12 champion at 149 pounts, captured the gold with a 4-0 win over Abel Herrera of Peru. The United States finished with 78 team points, 20 more than second-place Canada.
