Elorriaga Tied for 9th All-Time In Career Three-Pointers

Jeff Elorriaga's sharpshooting last night not only helped the Broncos score an important road win; it also moved Jeff up the ladder of the cream of the crop of Boise State long-range specialists.

Elorriaga nailed six three-pointers last night in Boise State's victory over Fresno State to give him 138 in his three-year career.  That ties Elorriaga with Anthony Thomas for ninth-place in the history of Boise State basketball.  Next up, a pair of legends that are tied for seventh:  Chris Childs and Roberto Bergersen--both hit 163 treys among the other outstanding things they accomplished in their careers.

Elorriaga now has connected on 71 three-pointers this season, which moves him past Coby Karl (2005-2006) and ties him with Bergersen (2008-2009) for seventh for the most three-pointers in a season at Boise State.  With a minimum of five games to play, Elorriaga has an outside shot at the school record of 92 set by Abe Jackson in 2001-02 and a realistic chance at tying Tyler Tiedeman (84 in 2007-08) for second.
