The Boise State gymnastics team is scoring well, but finds itself far behind #6 Alabama after two rotations.  The Crimson Tide lead Boise State 98.925 to 98.450.

Huge Weekend for Boise State Sports

This is one of those rare times when the winter sports are wrapping up and the spring sports are underway.  Tons of action to follow for Bronco fans:

The shorthanded men's basketball team nevertheless must find a way to beat Fresno State to keep hopes of a Mountain West title alive.  Tipoff is set for Saturday night in Fresno at 5 a.m. Mountain Time.

The women's basketball team hosts the Bulldogs in Taco Bell Arena tomorrow at 2 p.m.

The #12 Boise State gymnastics team needs to score over 196 tonight at #6 Alabama to remain in the top 12 in the nation.  The clash begins at 6 p.m.

The Boise State softball team competes in the Wilson/De Marini Desert Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada.  The Lady Broncos go against #25 Cal State Fullerton and Long Beach today, Seattle and Portland State tomorrow, and #10 UCLA on Sunday.

The Bronco track and field team splits its team in two events this weekend.  Some of the top student-athletes will compete in the Husky Classic that takes place today and tomorrow in Seattle, Washington, and the Broncos will also host the Team Challenge, the final meet before the Mountain West Indoor Championships.  Action gets underway in Dona Larsen Park tomorrow at 9 a.m.

The Boise State tennis team takes on UC-Irvine and UNLV in Las Vegas tomorrow.
