Iloka Signs Four-Year Deal for $2 Million

Super Boise State safety George Iloka, among the best who has ever played the position in a long line of them at the school, signed a four-year, $2 million deal today with the team that drafted earlier in the month, the Cincinnati Bengals.

Felix Leads Mountain West Decathlon Field After Day One

Well, familiar results for Kurt Felix, very similar to where he looked at the NCAA Championships after his first day of multi-event competition, and where he was at the Mountain West Indoor Championships.


The challenge for Kurt is the second day.  He's opened up a 300 point lead on his closest competitor, but the race for the decathlon title is far from over.

Mountain West Track Championships Get Underway

The 2012 Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships begin today in Colorado Springs, Colorado.


Host Air Force snuck up from behind to edge Boise State for the Indoor title earlier this year and is one of the favorites to take the men's title this week, along with New Mexico and TCU.  Boise State is projected to finish fourth, but with the right events occurring, the Broncos have an outside shot at finishing first.  The Boise State women are projected to finish well back in the pack.

Lady Broncos Host #9 Texas A&M for Three

With a possible NCAA Tournament berth on the line, the Boise State softball team returns home to close out the regular season against #9 Texas A&M.

Remember the games this week are Thursday, Friday & Saturday, with all three starting at 4 p.m. at Mountain Cove Field in Boise.


Boise State, 34-17 on the season, is ranked #56 in the most recent NCAA RPI Ratings, and likely needs to win two or three of the games this week against the Aggies to have a good shot at being selected as an at-large team.
