Bronco Gymnasts Look to Climb in New NCAA Rankings

Boise State could gain a spot in the climb back up the ladder of the NCAA women's gymnastics rankings.  Although the Broncos fell short of 196 points, their Regional Qualifying Score increased from 195.540 to 195.700.  That should be enough to overtake #13 Ohio State, which had a 196.1 this weekend.

However, Boise State will still be no better than fourth in the Western Region.  Only the top two teams from each region qualify for Nationals, and Stanford, Oregon State and UCLA all have regularly been scoring over 196 and in fact are nearing 197.  That is what it is going to take to make Nationals.
