Kraychir & Viitala Make Push for NCAA's

Trevor Kraychir and Eetu Viitala made one final effort to qualify for the upcoming NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships with wins at the University of Washington's "Last Chance" meet in Seattle yesterday.


Kraychir captured first place with a lifetime-best 67-feet, 3.25 inches in the weight throw.  Viitala remains unbeaten in the long jump with a performance of 25-2.75 yesterday.  


The Bronco duo will find out tomorrow if they earned a spot at the Nationals.  Kurt Felix is the only automatic qualifier from Boise State thus far.  Felix earned an automatic berth in the Championships in the heptathlon.
