The Broncos are doing about as well as they can at the MWC Women's Golf Championships, at six over par after eight holes. But the conference favorite, UNLV, is finally golfing up to pre-championship expectations. The #43 Rebels are still only one over par through nine holes and are 27 over for the tournament. They have caught and passed Boise State, which is 28 over and is also one hole behind UNLV.
Fresno State is still in first, 22 strokes over par, while San Diego State is in fourth, 31 over.
