Morgan LaLone came through with a late 6-4 win in the opening set at #4 singles, meaning three Broncos have won their opening sets against Nevada. That is how many Broncos need to win their singles matches for the team to advance to tomorrow's semifinal.
In the only other match in which they are still playing the first set, Sandy Vo trails 5-4 at #2 singles.
In the second set, Manuela Pietzuch, who won her opening set 6-0 at #6 singles, has surrendered a break and trails 4-1. And, Morgan Basil, who lost her opening set 6-1, has given up a break and trails 3-2 in the second set. Marlena Pietzuch, who just minutes ago won the opening set at #1 singles, 6-4, gave up serve in the opening game of the second set and trails 1-0. Three Broncos already down in their respective second sets.
