Today is another very busy day for Bronco fans. In fact, I don't remember a weekend that was this busy.
The Broncos are trying to take their first-ever Mountain West Conference Championship. They have three more chances. The Boise State men's and women's teams are competing in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the MWC Indoor Track & Field Championships with a full slate of action. The Broncs have a realistic chance of unseating defending champion San Diego State at the MWC Swimming & Diving Championships in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Both of those conference championships take place through Saturday.
The Boise State tennis team faces three SEC teams this weekend at the Blue-Gray Classic in Montgomery, Alabama. Rain is delaying the first matches, now rescheduled for 11:30 this morning Mountain Time. The Bronco women play at Pepperdine this afternoon at 2:30. The Boise State softball team, which split a doubleheader yesterday at the Cathedral Classic, plays nationally-ranked Oklahoma at 4:30 Mountain Time and Cal Poly at 7 p.m. The #16 Bronco gymnasts test #8 Oregon State in Corvallis at 9 p.m.
Then we have both Boise State basketball teams in action tomorrow against Wyoming and the Bronco wrestling team hosts the Pac-12 Championships all day Sunday at Taco Bell Arena.
Hold on to your hats--it's going to be an exciting weekend and Blue Through and Through will keep you informed on all this right here!
