Boise State rained in 14 three-pointers en route to a 108-64 victory last night over Drake in Taco Bell Arena, giving fans more than their money's worth.
Drake came into the game allowing just 59.5 points a game and had not given up more than 65 before the Bronco barrage. Drew Wiley hit 5-5 from three-point land and led Coach Leon Rice's team with 17 points, while Kenny Buckner connected on 8-of-9 shooting for 16 points and Thomas Bropley also had 16. Anthony Drmic, another three-point bomber, added 15 points for the Broncos, now 5-1 on the season.
But it did not matter how many points the shots counted for; they were all going in and Boise State finished with 61% shooting and outrebounded the Bulldogs 43-24.
Rayvonte Rice had 19 points to lead Drake while Ben Simons added 14.
