The Lady Broncos taking on Drake at the Southern Utah Tournament in Cedar City. All tied up 2 sets apiece.
Coach Garus' team won the first set 25-19 before dropping two tight sets by identical 25-23 scores. The Broncos roared back to win the fourth set (25-19) but saw a 12-9 fifth set lead evaporate into a tie. The Broncos pulled ahead in the final minutes to pull out a narrow 16-14 win.
Fiona Jones leads Boise State with 18 kills while Breann Nesselhuf led the Broncos with 53 assists.
Boise State won its second consecutive match after dropping the season opener.
