Every year, Boise State student-athletes are named to various "Watch Lists" for college football's top awards.
This season, running back Doug Martin and quarterback Kellen Moore were both named to the Maxwell Award Watch List, while defensive tackle Billy Winn was named to the Watch Lists for the Bednarik Award, the Outland Trophy and the Bronko Nagurski Award. Tight end Kyle Efaw was added to the Watch List for the Mackey Award, George Iloka added for the Jim Thorpe Trophy and offensive lineman Nate Potter was also put on the Watch List for the Outland Trophy.
These lists all contain some of the great talent in college football, but there are about a gazillion names to start the season. The news will be when a Bronco wins one of these awards.
