WAC Softball: New Mexico State Pours It On Boise State 7-0

(Refresh for updates.)
Some teams just seem to have your number, but can they really win four in a row over a great Boise State team?  Apparently so.

However, the Bronco defense is letting them down this time.  Both teams had five hits, but Boise State committed three errrors, and New Mexico State had a 4-0 lead after 4 and a half.  Still manageable.  But, a three-run homer in the bottom of the fifth had Boise State facing a 7-0 deficit.  Boise State plays well against everyone in the conference but when they meet New Mexico State, they fall apart.

New Mexico State gets a berth in the championship. Boise State faces the winner of the Fresno State-Louisiana Tech game at 8 p.m. tonight in order to get there.
