Boise State unleashed a nine-run outburst in the fourth inning and coasted to a 14-1 win this afternoon over Seattle University at Mountain Cove Field.
Holly Bourke went 3-3 to lead the Bronco hitting attack that has come alive since Boise State returned home. Kellie Caplan and Bourke sent back-to-back blasts over the field in the Bronco second to help the Broncos take control. Bourke also plated the first run of the Bronco fourth with a triple to the gap and Megan Harvey, Christina Capobianco, Mackenzie White and Allie Crump all homered later in the inning, Crump's a three-run shot.
The nightcap between Boise State and Southern Utah is underway at Mountain Cove.
