The Bronco gymnastics team set a new school record on bars and recorded the eighth-highest total score in school history to defeat Alaska-Anchorage 196.800 to 192.500.
Boise State registered a 49.575 on bars, breaking the mark of 49.5 set in 2001 and tied last year against Iowa. Senior Kelsey Morris recorded a 9.95 to lead the team, while Krystine Jacobsen posted a 9.90.
"The girls have been chasing that bars record for years," said co-head coach Neil Resnick. "They finally got it done tonight and it was absolutely amazing."
Senior Ciera Perkins nailed a 9.90 on vault to take the individual title, while Morris won floor exercises with a 9.90.
Boise State will conclude the regular season at Southern Utah next Friday, before competing in the Mountain Rim Conference Championships.
