Going against Utah State and former Bronco Clancey Shields (now head coach for the Aggies), Boise State opens play in the Mountain West men's tennis tournament by winning the doubles point:
Andy Bettles and Thomas Tenreiro put away Marcus Fritz and Fredrik Peterson of USU 8-4 at No. 1 doubles. Toby Mitchell and Nathan Sereke won their match 8-4, while Brian Foley and Aidan Reid lost 7-5.
