#17 Boise State Downs Iowa of the Big Ten

The Boise State gymnasts summoned something from inside to come up with the third-highest score in school history in turning back Iowa 196.975 to 195.350 last night in Taco Bell Arena.

Junior Kelsey Morris posted a career high of 9.95 on bars, which tied the team record, and also scored a career high on vault (9.85) and tied her career best on beam (9.85).  Morris's all-around score of 39.500 is also a career high and is third in the history of Boise State.

Kelsey Black's score of 9.90 on vault held up to win that event and is a career high, while freshman Diana Meija picked up a win on beam with a score of 9.875.

Kystine Jacobsen, Kelsey Black and Ciera Perkins each posted scores of 9.900 on bars

The Broncos scored 49.500 on bars.

Boise State has dominated their Big Ten opponent with an all-time record of 5-1 over Iowa, and the Lady Broncos advanced their mark this season to 12-3.  Boise State will meet Seattle Pacific next Friday as part of Beauty and the Beast II, which will include the big wrestling match between Boise State and Oregon State.
