The Boise State women's golf team, down in the dumps for over a decade, is now three strokes ahead of Fresno State for second place at the 2013 Mountain West Conference Championships. The Broncos have had an awesome weekend, and have been in second place for nearly the entire tournament.
They won't catch #43 UNLV, which is 13 strokes ahead, but they have a chance to record the second-best conference finish in school history if they can hold on. Boise State has only won one conference title, and that was back in 1994. Their next-best finish was third place in 2001-2002.
