James Meredith and Nathan Sereke just clinched the doubles point for Boise State, by winning at #1 doubles, 8-5.  Meredith served the final game and the fourth time was the charm.  After opening up a 40-Love lead, the Broncos lost three consecutive Match points.  After Florida State had two Advantages but Meredith and Sereke fought back, finally on Advantage Boise State, the Broncos captured the point, the match, and the doubles point for Boise State.  Andy Bettles and Fillippe Pogostkin won at #3 doubles, 8-2.

Damian Hume and Scott Sears, Boise State's #2 doubles team, lost 8-3, so it is up to James and Nathan.

James Meredith and Scott Sears have lost a service break at #1 and #6 singles, respectively and Damian Hume has won a break at #2 singles.  (A break means that a player did not win while serving.)  Meredith had five Break Points to try to get to even but has lost them all.  In that game, James hit two balls that were out but did not call them.  And Kelly of Florida State won the game and is up 3-1.  The serve has gone South--Meredith lost his third service break and the set, 6-1.

James, however, has a break in the second set and is up 5-3.

Hume, meanwhile, is playing much better, and won his first set, 6-1.  Damian also just won a second break in the second set.

Sears lost his first set 6-3.

Andy Bettles just won a second service break; he was down 40-Love in his serve but battled back to save it, and won the set 6-2.  Bettles is up a break in the second set as well.

Pogostkin won an early service break but lost a serve going for the set and was just broken again to lose the first set 7-5.  Florida State has won three first sets to two for Boise State.

Nathan Sereke won an early service break but just lost one and he is tied 5-5.  Sereke needs to win for Boise State to still be ahead in the match.

The match is being played in Athens, Georgia, in the backyard of Florida State.
