NCAA Regional Gymnastics Results

Remember to refresh.  This post will be updated as results come in.

Boise State fell short of the 49 it needed to have a good shot at the top 2.  As we've been saying on the blog, a 196 is pretty much minimum.  And as you can see, Boise State already is over 2/10th's behind home team Arkansas, the team they have to beat if they want to go to Nationals.

The Arkansas vaulter who just competed took a step back on dismount and still got a 9.90.  Shock.  The home team is in first place.  Potvin-Green of Boise State just completed a great routine on beam had got a score of 9.675.  We told you so--if you're not in the Top 12 at Regionals, you won't get respect.  Boise State isn't helping itself with slips on dismounts and sub-9.8 scores, but they aren't getting the scores they deserve on great routines either.  The result of all that is that Boise State is in fifth place out of six teams.

Boise State has a bye in the fourth rotation.

Arkansas--Floor and Vault--98.425
UCLA--Bars and Beam--98.300
Maryland--Floor and Vault--97.725
Missouri--Vault and Bars--97.400
Boise State--Bars and Beam--97.325
New Hampshire--Beam and Floor--96.575
