Moore Named To Maxwell Award Semifinal List

Record-setting Boise State senior quarterback Kellen Moore was named a semifinalist for the Maxwell Award today, given annually to the nation's top collegiate player.


Moore, who became a semifinalist for the Davey O'Brien Award last week, is one of 16 semifinalists for the Maxwell Award.  Three finalists will be named in three weeks (November 21) with the winner announced on the College Football Awards Show December 8.

Moore is tied for the most wins as a starting quarterback in the history of college football with 45, and also holds two NCAA records for the fewest interceptions in a season.  He is #4 on the NCAA career list for touchdown passes (123) and currently ranks 10th for career passing yards (12,877).  This season, Moore leads the nation in completion percentage (76.3%) and is fourth in passing efficiency (180.72).
