Boise State Wins Another Relay at WAC Championships, Continues to Lead

At this moment, Boise State is not only keeping its lead but extending it at the WAC Swimming and Diving Championships.  The Bronco 200-yard freestyle relay team of Amber Boucher, Stevie Hughey, Kelsy Diener and Stephanie North eclipsed their season best by nearly three seconds in winning the event.  San Jose State, which had a WAC-best time of 1:33.35, also beat their season-best but it wasn't enough to top Boise State.


Boise State's 200-meter relay team set a pool record in upsetting San Jose State:

Earlier tonight Boise State's Jennifer Cahill was third in the 500-yard freestyle, earning an NCAA-qualifying time of 4:51.96.  Boise State swept the 50-meter freestyle with Amber Boucher, Jennifer North and Stevie Hughey all posting NCAA provisional times.
