Elorriaga Moves Into 10th All-Time for 3-Point Field Goals

Jeff Elloriaga passed Tyler Tiedeman (2005-2008) for 10th place all-time in three-point field goals at Boise State.  Tiedeman made 129 in his four-year career, and tonight, Elloriaga pushed his total to 132.  Elloriaga is now six treys behind Anthony Thomas for 9th place.

Elloriaga is now behind Coby Carl (2004-2005) by three three-pointers with 65 this season for 11th place.

Boise State Swimming & Diving Team in Fifth Place at MWC Championships

The Broncos had to fight for their lives last year to win the conference championship.  Now, they'll have to fight from way down after the first day this year.  New Mexico has the lead with 60 points with Fresno State (55 points), Nevada (53) and San Diego State (53) close behind.

Boise State is all the way back with 52 points while UNLV has 50, Colorado State with 33, Wyoming has 33 first-day points and Air Force has 20.

Good win for the team, pulling away in the second half with an 18-4 run that stood up the rest of the game.  Boise State is now 17-8 overall and 5-6 in the MWC, one loss out of fourth place.

Coach Leon Rice's team now leads Air Force, 66-48.

Bronco Men Clinging to One-Point Lead At Home

Boise State's 10-1 record at home isn't scaring Air Force much.  The Broncos lead the Falcons 35-34 at the half.

Broncos Finish Disappointing Fourth in 800 Free Relay

Boise State finished fourth in the 800 Freestyle Relay tonight.  The bad news there:  San Diego State, the team that battled the Broncos to the last event last year at the MWC Championships, won the event and the 40 points that go along with it.

Bronco Relay Team Smashes All-Time Mountain West Record

Today is the opening day of the Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championships, and the Broncos are off to a great start.  Both Lexi Pfeiffer and Ciera Cortney qualified for the finals of the one-meter diving finals, though Cortney was 31 points under her seed of 284.85.
